About your Chef

Emilio Hawkins is self trained experimental chef, born and raised throughout Compton and Long Beach. Years of vegan street food restaurant and high quality, large venue catering work has allow Emilio(Emmi) to gain experience and lay the ground work for his personal chef business. His love for the fashion/streetwear industry is what inspires the artistry that comes with his dishes while also leading him to connect with creatives in the medium in a culinary aspect. Connecting to the community around him through food is one way Emilio feels that he can give back. Through Emmi Made It, he feels that this goal can become a more constant reality.
